Hi I'm Stacy Martinez, I am a SAHM with 2 girls. My Candle business provides me with the opportunity to earn extra income from home by offering natural, healthy products that I love, with a flexibility that allows me to put the needs of my family first.

A little about my story, I have been a SAHM since my oldest daughter was 6mo. I love being home with my girls. I have the opportunity to homeschool them as well as plenty of free time for play dates and hanging out doing fun crafts.

A couple of years ago I began to look for a business that I could do from home to make some extra money. I found something that I thought was perfect for me and my life style. So I signed up. I bought all the products and did all the leg work and never saw any results. Although I loved all the products that was not enough to keep me on board. So I quit, Yep I quit.

Months went by and I continued on with my daily routine, I started a job working for a friend which was perfect because I could take my girls with me everyday. A huge plus since we always told ourselves that no one would raise our kids but us. I worked there for a few months and the novelty wore off real quick with my girls, they were begging me not to go to work and they fought all the time, they were becoming very unhappy and in turn I became unhappy. That was definitely not my vision. So I decided to quit my job. I decided that the happiness and well being of my kids was more important than the little extra money I got each month.

I began a few months later to search for something to do at home again to make extra money, we were struggling with bills and I was very stressed all the time and unhappy. I did allot of research on the internet, I wanted to find something that was easy and profitable. I new I didn't want to sell anything. I talked to a few different companies and they sounded ok but nothing I could get excited about. I continued to search and came across this business, and I thought candles, who doesn't love candles? I know I do. I am sure my friends and family do. So I filled out the more info form and waited. My now sponsor contacted me and gave me the info I was looking for and I thought this sounds pretty easy, but I was still unsure about selling. I am not much of a get in front of a crowd and speak type of person. I talked it over with my husband and decided to go for it. I signed up a couple days later and I had made a decision when I joined to dive in with both feet and I sure did. So I signed up with the Candle of the Month and started to do all the things that my sponsor suggested. At the time I only ordered the sample pack which was a mistake cause I ended up placing an order right away. I could have ordered the starter pack and gotten everything I needed up front. But that's ok I learned and moved on. As soon as my box came in I opened it and smelled everything.

I had a friend of mine invite me to a home party, they had a few distributors from other companies. So I began to tell my friend that I just singed up to sell candles, and funny thing they were trying to find someone who sold candles to involve in this party. She got excited and in turn that got me excited. She reads Tarot cards and began to tell me that I was going to be successful in this endeavor and got even more excited about my business. We started talking and decided to do another party like this one closer towards Christmas.

I have come to believe that negativity get you nowhere. If you want something believe in it and it will come your way. All sorts of opportunities have been coming my way lately and I am so excited. I made tons of crafty gift candles for Christmas and sold them as well as gave them as gifts.

I have goals set and I work each day to reach those goals. I am dreaming and believing. I can work part time or fulltime but that is my choice. Isn't that wonderful? Can't do that at a 9-5 job.
